Regrouping.

When my blog first started, my only subscribers were my Mom, Dad, bestest friends and personal pep squad, so I didn’t mince words when it came to posting what was “up” with my life.  Well, fast forward a year or so, and all of a sudden, my blog became my entire website, and my business…

Wow Kim,I am so sorry to hear that, you hear rumblings of the economy turning around but I haven’t seen it here, everybody is still getting cut back or laid off or taking pay cuts.
Does Dave have any leads on work? Not having work is so bad for your head,I know I have had some long dry spells and everything looks so dark.

Nice shots Kim,I’m sorry to hear that the chocolate covered bacon was a let down.

Me too, Uncle Dave… me too.

Trish

Great shots! Where did you go to see fireworks?

Ok, seriously…San Marcos had the BOMB fireworks display. My neighbor talked me into it, but it was AWESOME. They were right on top of us. And, for hours prior, they had food, face painting, free jumpers for the kids, live music, etc. I can’t believe I haven’t been there before!

WOW – Sounds like a great time. How fun to have a place close by to go and relax with friends and enjoy the day.

Some beachy fun!

I had the pleasure of shooting a fellow photographer and her adorable family last weekend!  In addition to being a Mom and a photographer, she’s also an awesome designer!  So, if you need a logo, a template, or any other design work, check her out here.  Heidi wanted some good ol’ San Diego style beach…

Hi Kim – I am really close friends with Heidi and her beautiful family and also a fellow photog up in Nor Cal. Heidi has been an amazing mentor to me over the past few years. Anyhow, I just wanted to say that I absolutely LOOOOVE her pictures! Oh my gosh, they are just beautiful! My favorite is Heidi and Sean, and the family in front of the carousel. Picture perfect! :) Just had to say what a fabulous job you did! I think I might need to give you a call and book a session! :)

Ahhhhh! I really like these!! Can’t wait to see more! :) Thank you!

OMG….Amazing as always. I truely think you not only captured the beauty of the family but also that bit of San Diego they wanted. Way to go Kim!!

That is SO awesome to hear some props from a fellow photog, so THANK YOU!!

“It’s my party and I’ll cry if I want to!”

If you recall, Miss Charlotte turned the big O-N-E last month! She had a ladybug-themed birthday party, so it was only fitting that she brought her fabulous outfit to our shoot! I like to call this one “The Grouchy Ladybug” And, my personal favorite.  There is nothing cuter than a smooshie one year old smothered…

How cute. We did green eggs and ham at our school too. We even went as far as to make 15 green jello eggs. The kids LOVED it.

I will not eat them here or there, I will not eat them anywhere!
